Breakfast options were excellent. However, the area felt unsafe at night with noise from nearby establishments.

Both lovable and frustrating
Rooms looked just like the advertised photos and were well-appointed! Location’s in walking distance to many highlights, making it easy to explore the city.
Street noise is constant, with bars around—definitely not ideal for peace and quiet during the night! One key per room complicates things for groups.

8/10
Aye, we stayed one night in a Twin Room, and it was spacious for real. The heating worked great, kept us warm. Breakfast was mad decent, too. Only thing was, the street noise was wild, bars everywhere. But we managed to catch some Z's. It felt good overall!

I stayed for two nights as a solo traveler and visited several nearby attractions like Marienplatz and the Pinakothek der Moderne. I really appreciated the hearty breakfast selection that kept me fueled for my sightseeing adventures. The room was just as shown in the photos, which was a pleasant surprise. Additionally, being close to the train station made commuting around the city easy.

I stayed for 3 nights in a Twin Room. The breakfast was good, with plenty of tasty options. The location was great, close to the center and quiet despite the bustling area. The room was clean, and I loved having the fan to keep cool. Staff were kind and helpful, especially with luggage storage.

The hotel is conveniently located near cafes and transport options.
My experience at Hotel Royal was less than ideal. The room was uncomfortably hot during my stay and the lack of air conditioning made it unbearable, even with the small fan provided. I faced issues with the elevator getting stuck occasionally, which was frustrating—especially after a long day of exploring.

I stayed for 2 nights in a Double Room, and the bed was super comfy! The room was clean and surprisingly spacious. I loved the large window that let in tons of light. The bathroom was a bit cramped, but everything worked well. Breakfast was varied and delicious, definitely a highlight! The only downside was the noise from nearby bars. it can get a little loud at night.

The hotel is centrally located, making it easy for our family to explore the main shopping areas and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. Breakfast was impressive, with plenty of choices. It made a great start to our days, especially before heading out with our relatives.
My kids wished the rooms had better ventilation.

The location is a major plus, just 200 meters from the main train station and within easy walking distance to key historic sites. Breakfast offerings included a variety of bread, cheese, and muesli, with attentive staff ensuring everything was well-stocked. Room cleanliness was up to par, although the absence of soundproofing can lead to interruptions during the night due to nearby bars. The lack of modern amenities was noticeable, but the overall experience was decent for the price.
